Last season’s Player of the Season has made a welcome return to action in recent weeks, following a hamstring problem that had sidelined the defender since the start of March.
During that time, the centre-back underwent some rehabilitation work at the City Football Academy and Club Photographer Tom Flathers was able to capture his road to recovery.
Dias played an integral part of City’s 2020/21 success, earning plenty of individual acclaim with the Club and Premier League’s Player of the Season award, and the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year gong.
His return to action has handed Pep Guardiola‘s men a welcome boost, as the 2021/22 campaign enters its final stretch with City chasing domestic and European glory.
